Hey, I'm sleep deprived! Am I really to blame for my bad blog titles???
So, as many of you know, I suffer from OCD, aka CDO for those who like alphabetical order. As a result, I've been unable to get to sleep until my hubby is safe at home - not good for those late night hockey games! The first night I was able to go to sleep while he wasn't home was when I was in the first trimester with Robynn. But really, I've gone back to my old - very bad - habit of waiting for him before hitting the hay.
Anyway, I was VERY, no EXTREMELY proud of myself for not only going to bed, but getting to sleep last night while Russ was at a late night hockey game. I'd fallen asleep sometime around 11. Hmmm, you say, I know where this is going - Natasha woke you up right away - NO! Russ phoned. I have him trained, you see, to call me so I don't have panic attacks! "Hi Honey, I'm on my way home, I'll be home in 2o minutes." Great, so I go back to sleep. 20 minutes later, Russ comes into our bedroom and wakes me: "Hi Honey, don't freak out (Okay, now I'm awake), but I'm going to head off to the hospital to get stitches under my eye from where I got high sticked." WHAT!!!! You've got to be kidding me! I go to sleep and DON'T have obsessions about my hubby getting injured, and he goes and gets injured! On the first night in years that I'm able to sleep without him home!
Okay, freak attack done, I go back to sleep.
10 minutes later Natasha wakes up. Yup.
4 hours later Natasha wakes up. No, husband. Freak attack!!! So, I give him a call. No answer. Serious freak attack - visions of Milo the Mazda MPV Minivan wrapped around a pole somewhere in Maple Ridge! (Sorry, I'm an English teacher and very into alliteration!)
No, he's okay. He was getting stitched up after a 4 hour wait in the ER of MRH.
But get this! He took the Smart Car home last night, because he missed the train(s). So he had to drive this morning on 45 minutes of sleep. Yes, I made him call me when he got to work. He's safe, and I'm sleep deprived. But at least today, I'm not alone in my deprivation :)
I hope you all have a very happy, safe, and restful weekend!

That is unreal - I am so glad John's sport of choice is golf. Sunburns are usually the worst injuries.
Get some rest and thanks for a fun day at the Aquarium!
